This report details field work during the summers of 1976-77 for the Resources Basic Inventory of the Crater District of Haleakala National Park. It provides an annotated catalog of 49 species of ferns and fern allies (96% are indigenous to the Hawaiian Islands. None of the species are considered endangered. However, two areas of Paliku are recommended for conservation; and there is a need for feral pig elimination.
