From the Abstract: "Erigeron glacialis ... is recognized as a species separate from E. peregrinus.... It has most recently been treated as E. peregrinus subsp. callianthemus. Intermediates between E. glacialis and E. peregrinus do occur but the two species are mostly distinct even where in close contact in Washington and British Columbia...."
