The Department of Marine and Wildlife Resources has been conducting an inshore fisheries monitoring program for the past four years in American Samoa. The Inshore Survey monitoring program was initiated in 1990. Data collection for the present survey began in July 1990 and has continued to the present with moderate changes. Results presented in this report include only those data which represent entire years, which include information collected in 1991, 1992, 1993 and 1994. The total landings for the inshore coral reef fishery were 191,600 lbs for 1994.
