Through the years the number of daily boat-based fishing trips declined; gives catch rates for each type of boat based fishing and mean for all methods combined; also determined the number of days required to make accurate estimates; shallow bottomfishes were numerically dominant; estimated maximum sustainable yield which was lower than the catch at the peak of bottomfishing; for the shoreline fishery estimated mean catch rate and the number of days needed to accurately estimate this rate.
