A preliminary investigation to access the potential of aquaculture development in Swains Atoll. Samplings of zooplankton and depth/temperature/salinity/conductivity were taken. Results of the investigation suggest that an aquaculture operation culturing fresh water algavoures or planktavours may be successful in the lagoon.
