The purpose of this report is to document bear management incidents that occured in the Brooks River area during the 2000 season (25 May-18 Sep. 2000) and to provide recommindations for future bear management at Brooks Camp. Objectives for this report were to: 1. Describe characterists of hazing events including sex, age, class, and reproductive status of bears involved and the effectiveness of hazing techniques. 2. Catalog all bear management report forms and complie a database of bear/human incidents, that occured in the the Brooks River area during the past five years. 3. Provide recommendations for future bear management at Brooks Camp.
