Southeast Wolf Population Management

Dinneford B. 1999. Southeast Wolf Population Management. In Alaska Department of Fish and Game. Wolf: Federal Aid in Wildlife Restoration, Annual Survey and Inventory Performance Report

We sealed 23 pelts from Unit 1A. Information we collected from successful trappers included location and date of kill, method of take, transportation mode, sex, and pelt color. We collected information through informal discussions with hunters and trappersk, and more formal information through our trapper survey. We also collected forelog bones to determine proportions of adults to juveniles in the harvest.
