This resource management plan describes the cultural and natural resources of KALA and the issues affecting them. Management actions to address these issues and fulfill the park's prurposes are developed in the management program and detailed in the project statements. The Resource Management Plan intends to inform Regional and Service administrators of the park's resources management plans and funding requirements, to provide park resource managers with a working guideline, and to inform the Kalaupapa community and the general public of the goals of the park's resource management program.
