GIS digital data on hydrography, soils, recharge, and watersheds from the St. Johns River Water Management District; by examining land saturation habitat maps, land use maps, and various aerial photographs and topographic maps. St. Johns River Water Management District will spend a significant portion of the annual land acquisition budget to purchase lands of high hydrolic and ecological value - Nassau River and Lower St. Johns River Basin. KBN recommends the St. Johns River Water Management District pursue acquisition of all the priority site as funds and cooperative opportunities become available.
