This report presents a brief outline of the activities of the Geological Survey in the investigation of water quality in the Jacksonville, Florida Areas. Temperature varies daily or seasonally ranging from 9.5 degrees celcius to 16.2 degrees celcius, dissolved oxygen varies with change in air temperature or barometric pressure ranging from 5.6 to 8., the pH in standard units ranged from 7.6 to 7.9, and conductance in Micromhos was ranging from 3371 to 16330. A water quality monitor was used for temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, and specific electrical conductance. Test borings were used for geological and hydrological data. Expand the present water quality network to define the quality characteristics of water resources in the area.
