A survey of the amphibians and reptiles of the George Washington Birthplace National Monument, conducted during the months of March through November, 1986 to 1989. Discusses study materials and methods, and includes two tables listing twelve amphibian and eighteen reptile species. One shows common name, month observed, and whether or not the species is a new locality record for Westmoreland County. The other shows a list (with scientific and common names) of reptiles and amphibians expected in the park, and whether or not they were found.
