This volume is a compilation of the results of an archaeological survey and inventory project in Gates of the Arctic National Park and Preserve between 1983 and 1985. It's purpose is to provide the reader with as much information as possible regarding the prehistory of the park as concisely as possible. This objective has been met by an extensive set of summary tables that provide a 'Reader's Digest' version of the data gathered from the 626 sites that form the park and preserve's archaeological database.
