This report analyzes the sampling completeness for the IMPROVE aerosol monitoring network in 2001. It was found that the median site had a 92% completion rate, which is excellent. Ninety percent of the sites had a completion rate greater than 75%, which is the annual criterion for acceptance. If we consider only the 103 sites were installed before January 2001, then 12 failed the annual criterion and 3 others failed the quarter or 10-consecutive criteria.
