This data was collected by the authors for a journal article, entitled, "Description of nests, eggs, and nestlings of the endangered nightingale reed-warbler on Saipan, Micronesia". The following data was not specifically published in the journal article, but it was data collected in AMME to be used by park personnel: PAGE 1: Number of reed-warblers banded in the park: 9 (6 males & 3 juveniles); Pairs of reed-warblers presently in the park as of 7/98: 5; Nesting seasons: January through March, July through September; Number of nests found: 13; Number of active nests found: 5; Number of nests successful in fledging young: 2; Number of eggs per nest: 2 to 3; Average nest height: 5.5 m; Types of material used in nest construction: dried vines, dried ironwood, dried blades of grass; Types of trees nested in at park: mangrove, sea hibiscus (Pago), rosewood, ironwood, madras thorn.
