Evans GE and Comp TA. 1983. Historic resource study, Olympic National Park, Washington. Historic Resource Study. National Park Service, Cultural Resource Division, Pacific Northwest Region

From the Preface: 'This investigation of the modern human history of the central mountainous massif and fringe of Pacific coastline that now comprise Olympic National Park began in the summer of 1982. From June to October 1982 a team of three historians based in the Park identified nearly 250 pre-1943 buildings. These extant buildings represented tangible traces of the Park's human history.'
