Pfeiffer B. 1981. Historic Structure Inventory, Cape Cod National Seashore: Cultural Resources Management Study. Historic Structure Report. U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service, North Atlantic Regional Office. Boston, Massachusetts
This inventory of 110 structures either owned by or planned to be acquired by Cape Cod National Seashore. Its purpose was to identify structures which may possess historical or architectural significance, in compliance with Executive Order 11593. The inventory began in October 1980 and was complete in March 1981. Information is based on observation, research, assessment, and photography. In the case of buildings which may be eligible for listing to the National Register of Historic Places, this is intended to provide sufficient physical description to allow nominations to be prepared without additional research. The inventory is organized chronologically according to National Park Service tract numbers, which refer to land in Provincetown, Truro, Wellfleet, Eastham, Orleans, and Chatham. The inventory includes name of structure, location, order of significance, present use, condition, historical data, architectural data, management data, recommended treatment, sources of information, and additional comments.
