Report contains the detailed recommendations to implement decisions for rehabilitation of the entire structure of Crater Lake Lodge. Due to fiscal exigencies of the original construction period in 1913, the Crater Lake Lodge was constructed in the cheapest form possible. The improvements and changes to the structure over the years have resulted in the patchwork appearance of the building, which is described as functional and well-maintained but not meeting standards of safety or comfort. This report and the proposed rehabilitation of the structure aims to address that condition and preserve the lodge as a functioning guest facility that meets modern safety and comfort standards.
