Myers RF. 1988. Guam fisheries data processing. Pages 2-3. In South Pacific Commission: Workshop of Pacific inshore fishery resources. Noumea, New Calendonia. March 14-25, 1988. South Pacific Commission

Guam's Division of Aquatic and Wildlife Resources (DAWR) has been collecting fisheries information for ten years since 1987. As a result of the enormous amount of data collected, two database programs 1) Guam Offshore Expansion System (GOES) and 2) Guam Inshore Expansion System (GIES) were implemented to analyze the data. The result of entering the historical and current fishery data into the databases includes 16,596 records for offshore fisheries and 20,795 inshore-catch records.
