Aquatic Coleoptera and Hemiptera of Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, Arizona

Aquatic Coeolptera and Hemiptera were collected in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument (ORPI), Arizona, from March, 1980 through 1995. Most aquatic habitats in ORPI are tinajas, scoured out basins in the bedrock. Also, aquatic habitats are found at Quitobaquito Springs, a few other springs, and some concrete troughs. This study brought the number of recorded aquatic Coleoptera to 42 species from 5 families, and 21 species of aquatic Hemiptera from 8 families.
