Excerpts: "This report sumarizes black bear research and management activities that occurred within Redwood National and State Parks (RNSP) during 2005. The black bear research section was excluded from this report, as no black bear research was proposed or initiated within RNSP during 2004. The management section summarizes all important bear sightings and incidents, bear related meetings and education efforts, funding, known mortalities, and fiscal year 2007 priorities for black bear management within RNSP."
