In the Jamaica Bay CSO study, four separate mathematical model configurations, one for each of the four treatment plant service areas: Coney Island, 26th Ward, Jamaica and Rockaway. The lower reaches of the four water pollution control plant service areas are susceptible to backwater, surcharge and tidal influences.
