Recommends against this option in favor of combined sewer overflow tanks that are off-line. In-line storage using inflatable dams is not applicable because the required 34 million gallons of storage needed exceeds in-line storage currently induced by mean tide conditions, and in-line storage above backwater conditions induced by high tide will not be allowed. Due to limitations on weir length for storage tanks, setting of tank outlet wiers above 12 inches over mean tod, in order to reduce storage tank size by inducing in-line storage, is not recommended. Because of the number of existing conduits computed to exceed designed conditions, it is recommended that outlet weirs not be set above the elevation of mean tide.
