This annual report provides an overview of the background, objectives, methods, and preliminary results based on data from 2 years of a long term cooperative project to monitor the status and trend of Whitebark pine in the Greater Yellowstone Area. Caution in interpreting these preliminary results is warranted because the full ecosystem sample planned over several years is not yet complete.
