This paper looks at the beetle genus Adelopsis which occur in forest litter and soil habitats in the southeastern United States, and to consider their distributional and evolutionary history. A description, etymology, distribution, variations, and available field notes are given for each of the 16 species listed. Several species have line drawings reproduced.
