The dry and wet weight of Thalassia testudinum Konig washed ashore at Biscayne Bay during Hurricane Donna of 1960 is estimated. Agents destructive to turtle grass, other than wind, are discussed, and additional observations are included of hurrican damage to the turtle grass beds of the Bahama banks.
