The monument does not have a current General Management Plan--The Master Plan dates to 1964. Many of the priorities assigned to project statements reflect the need to have them completed for GMP activities expected to occur in the coming years. In general there is a lack of basic inventory data. Other projects, especially in natural resources, reflect the need to inventory resources within the monument.
