Study of humpback whales in the Gulf of the Farallones. Tried to identify individual whales, determine the number and distribution of whales and the seasonal movements. Surveyed from the sky and from boats.This report includes a summary of activities and a few results (maps showing locations of sightings of Dall's porpoise, harbor porpoise, California sea lions, northern sea lions, humpback, minke and blue whales between July 23 and September 15).
