Jung AK and Roth VD. 1974. Spiders of the Chiricahua Mountain area, Cochise Co., Arizona. Journal of the Arizona Academy of Science. 9(1):29-34
This list of species is based on data and specimens collected since 1963 by Vincent D. Roth and by both authors during the summer of 1971, mainly on the east side of the mountain range. Collecting methods included the use of a series of can traps, beating and sweeping vegetation, overturning rocks, sifting surface debris, and night collecting with head lamps. Additional records are included from the literature, and references are indicated by the authors and date. There are 36 familes, 155 genera and 363 species listed. The classification used for the families of spiders is that of Willis J. Gertsch in _American Spiders_.
