A new and endemic species to Montezuma Well, Hyalella montezuma, is examined. This species co-exists with the similar H. azteca in the weedy margins of the Well. Hyalella is one of the world's four known freshwater planktonic amphipods. Reporoductively, these two species are isolated at present; includes plates and a list of references.
