The purpose of this study is to define a minimum streamflow which will preserve the processes and natural conditions vital to the channel morphology and aquatic life system of the Yampa River. The proposed minimum streamflow was prepared in the form of a seasonal hydrograph which includes the constraints imposed by sediment deposition in the canyon, fishery habitat, riparian vegetation, and other ecological considerations.
