This document provides the results of initial bat surveys conducted at Devils Postpile National Monument on 23 and 24 August 2001. These surveys were intended to provide baseline information necessary for designing and implementing a more comprehensive inventory of the bat fauna in the Monument. Recommendations regarding additional surveys are provided.
