(Translated from Spanish) In situ observations of natural populations of juvenile grunts are revealing a set of steps, youth development definable behavioral changes, habitat use and feeding system. Behavioral changes are evident by a general increase of the intra- and interspecific aggression, which is not common in species that form schools, and the development and modification of the daily migration patterns. Changes in habitat and chronology at different stages of youth development are related to specific ages daily .
