Movements of amphibians between terrestrial habitat and a temporary pond in northcentral Florida were studied. Pitfall traps were used to capture and recapture 2500 individuals. The study was conducted over a 5 year period. Results showed that movement between pond and terrestrial habitats were nonrandom in orientation.
