Sex Determination of Mountain Quail Reconsidered

The authors measured six characters on 205 mountain quail to find a morphological technique to distinguish the sex of this species. They measured weight, wing chord, tarsus length, plume length, exposed claw, and clumen. Of the characters measured, only mean tarsus length and mean plume length had significant but small intersexual differences.
