This report summarizes the author's observations from April 26 through November 15, 1988 of geyser and hot spring activity in Yellowstone Natioanl Park. The areas of study included the following geyser basins: Upper Geyser Basin, Lower Geyser Basin, Lone Star Geyser Basin, Norris Geyser Basin, and Monument Geyser Basin. This report also includes the first extensive and revealing observations of the Giant/Grotto Group in over 30 years. The observations and this report were the primary objectives of his employment as a Physical Science Technician under the direction of Rick Hutchinson, Research Geologist for Yellowstone National Park's Division of research.
