Annual report for the Klamath Network inventory program: FY 2003 non-native plant inventory
Sarr D, Shufelberger A, Commons M, Bunn W. 2005. Annual report for the Klamath Network inventory program: FY 2003 non-native plant inventory
This document details the native plant inventory in five of the Klamath Inventory and Monitoring Network parks in fiscal year 2003. "The information needs varied among the parks based on management objectives and previous inventories. As a result, we employed three primary survey methods, singly or in combination, in each park: (1) site profile surveys of known disturbed areas, (2) targeted mapping of invasive species, and (3) establishment of quantitative belt plots for non-native vegetation. Additionally, a site information form (Appendix 1), which summarized environmental conditions and vegetation characteristics, was completed for each survey site." Many invasive species and their percent cover values are listed throughout the document. The major sections are subdivided by park unit. Maps with transect locations accompany the work as appendices.
