In the fall of 2001 the staff of Buffalo National River (BUFF) volunteered to participate in the Multiparameter Probe DEMO Project sponsored by NPS, Water Resources Division. The purpose of this demonstration of multiparameter sondes was to assess, compare, and contrast the various multiparameter water-quality instruments on the market to provide insight into future instrument procurements made by the Networks under the NPS Vital Signs Monitoring Program.
