A total of 132 species were recorded at CRMO during 2006. Fifty-four percent (74 of 131) of the species recorded are listed as sensitive. There were a total of 1815 individuals of 76 species observed on 167 point counts. One observed species, the Bushtit, had not been previously documented at CRMO. Sage-grouse lek count were continued in 2006 and a total high count of 98 birds were observed on six leks that were visited. Two of these leks were previously undocumented. For the 2006 Christmas Bird Count, 258 birds of 20 species were recorded over the day.
