Castle rare and invasive plant survey (2003-2005)

The results of three years of rare plant survey effort (2003-2005) in the Castle "wilderness" in Alberta - located directly north of Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta - are presented. The project attempts to synthesize existing information on rare plant occurrences with new information gained from surveying sites that have been neglected on the past. All survey areas occur on public lands managed by the Alberta Forest Service. Summaries of rare and invasive/non-native plant species found (distribution, abundance, and habitat) is presented.
