Telonics Generation II GPS collars placed on 14 captured grizzly bears in the US Highway 2 area in and near Glacier National Park. Study compared the influence of satellite availability, terrain, vegetation, animal size, and animal movement rates on fix success using data from GPS-collared bears. Error rates are compared.
