Land managers have a need for unbiased evaluation of management activities subsequent to catastrophic wildfire. The specific goals of such activities include reducing soil erosion, controlling the invasion of exotic species (cheatgrass or foxtail chess), and establishing a diverse and productive plant community for livestock and wildfire. Authors assessed the effects of non-intervention, seeding, and seeding with harrowing at four sites of burned Pinyon-Juniper habitat in the Grand Canyon/Parashant National Monument.
