Wallace MS and Troyano NM. 2006. The Oak-Feeding Smiliine Treehoppers (Hemiptera:Membracidae) of Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Journal of the Pennsylvania Academy of Science. 80(1):28-34
275 treehoppers representing 8 genera and 23 species were collected and identified during spring and summer 2004-2005. Collections were made from 14 sites located in the Monroe and Pike County, PA, portions of the park. Seasonal abundance data and host tree associations of four common genera were analyzed. Specimens were curated at the East Stroudsburg University museum. Two species are new state records for PA.
