Arizona Strip Desert Bighorn Management Plan

Finley T, Goodwin J, Herder M, Koenig H, Lemons R, Price R, Small M. 1997. Arizona Strip Desert Bighorn Management Plan. Bighorn Sheep Core Team

The Arizona Strip consists of those lands in Arizona north and west of the Colorado River. Most of these lands are federally administered by either the National Park Service, U.S. Forest Service, or BLM. Other land ownership includes Indian, private, and state. This plan addresses only BLM administered lands. However, bighorn sheep populations also occur on adjacent National Park Service and U.S. Forest Service lands on the Arizona Strip.
