The purpose of this plan is to provide management guidance for the Mt. Trumbull and Mt. Logan Wildernesses. Because these two areas have very similar resource characteristics and management issues, they are being managed under one plan. Throughout the development of this plan, the Arizona Wilderness Act of 1984 and the Wilderness Act of 1964 are used to guide the development if objectives, polices and the kind, type and method of management actions needed to maintain or enhance the wilderness resources and values.
