This report details progress through our fifth field season investigating the effects of restoration treatments on mule deer (Odocoileus hemionus), western bluebirds (Sialia mexicana), herpetofauna, turkeys (Meleagris gallopavo), migrating songbirds, and Abert's squirrels (Sciurus aberti). Upon initiating this project five years ago, we designed studies for each wildlife component in a quasi-experimental manner that incorporated simultaneous data collection at treatment and control sites both before and after treatment implementation.
