This document is a mid-year progress report on the status of experimental research on the Mt. Trumbull, AZ ecosystem restoration project and summarizes data collected in 1995 and 1996 on permanent ecosystem monitoring plots. These data are considered preliminary results. Further sampling in the field as well as continuing data analyses will lead to a more thorough understanding of present and past ecosystems at Mt. Trumbull.
