The Sonoran Desert Inventory and Monitoring Network (SODN) has identified several aspects of air quality (atmospheric deposition, ozone, visibility) as high-priority vital signs for monitoring. This monitoring protocol documents the methods currently used to collect air quality data in SODN parks and how these data are retrieved, managed, and analyzed for regular reporting to SODN parks.
