Results of biological inventory of vascular plants and vertebrates at Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument, New Mexico. This report summarizes the results of the first comprehensive biological inventory of Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument in western New Mexico. Surveys were conducted for vertebrates (amphibians, birds, mammals, and reptiles) and vascular plants. The data were collected as part of the NPS Sonoran Desert Network (SODN) Inventory and Monitoring (I&M) Program to serve as a baseline for long-term monitoring of park biological resources. The information in this document is of a preliminary nature and prepared primarily for internal use within the US Geological Survey. Prior to publication by the investigators, this information should NOT be used in open literature unless written permission has been obtained from the named investigators and the Station Leader.
