Note to reader. This word doc is a compilation of five emails from Rusty Wilson, a naturalist from Clemson University who is deeply interested in the natural history of Ninety Six NHS. He discovered Platanthera lacera (ragged fringed orchid) in a wetland in the park. This species is listed as Rare in South Carolina, Natureserve S1 in the state, and is apparently a county record.
