Previously unpublished Hawaiian plant records report 8 new state records, 21 new island records, 5 new naturalized records, 2 range extensions, and 7 nomenclatural and taxonomic changes that affect the flora of Hawai'i. The ongoing incorporation of the state Endangered Species Program herbarium developed by the Hawai'i Department of Land and Natural Resources, Division of Forestry and Wildlife into the BISH herbarium has brought to light a number of voucher specimens from the 1970s and 1980s that are first records for the state or for particular islands.
